Upon arrival at the Seychelles International Airport, you will be welcomed by your local representative and transferred by private vehicle to your luxury hotel. The Seychelles is a pristine archipelago of 115 idyllic islands in the Indian Ocean offering outstanding natural beauty. Embark on a full-day tour of Mahé. In the charming capital of Victoria, take a guided walk through a vibrant traditional market. Browse the wares of local boutiques, stop for a cup of coffee and a pastry, and marvel at the replica of Big Ben, which was built in 1903 and remains one of the city’s most famous landmarks. (B)
Spend the day at leisure enjoying your resort and the island surroundings on Mahé. If you’re feeling adventurous, an optional excursion can be arranged to Port Launay Marine Park, a crystal-clear bay surrounded by luxuriant vegetation. Don a mask and snorkel to explore this underwater Garden of Eden with its colorful coral reefs, tropical fish and seasonal whale shark sightings.Alternatively, visit the 160-acres Cap Lazare Nature Reserve, overlooking a tranquil lagoon with an astonishing array of colorful marine life and home to the biggest reserve of land tortoises on the islands. After breakfast, your driver takes you to the domestic airport for your scheduled 15-minute flight to Praslin Island. Here you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Upon arrival, check in and relax on the beach or by the pool, take a stroll through the garden-like grounds, or embark on some explorations of your own. Discover the legendary Vallée de Mai, a UNESCO World Heritage site that is home to a prehistoric rainforest of huge coco de mer trees, which dominate the island landscape. Walk among these living giants and search for the endemic Seychelles black parrot as it hops from branch to branch. Then kick back on one of the loveliest beaches in the archipelago. Anse Lazio’s turquoise waters, white sands and dramatic setting make it the perfect spot for a little R & R. (B)
Savor a day at leisure on Praslin. Soak up the rays on your resort’s beach, relax by the pool with a book and a cocktail or pamper yourself with a blissful massage in the spa. If you’re in the mood to explore, your resort can arrange excursions to some more of the island’s highlights. (B)
After breakfast, head to the jetty to board a ferry to La Digue Island. Enjoy a day in the sun on some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Dine like the locals do, with lunch at a popular Creole restaurant (payable locally).Return to Praslin and your luxury resort this afternoon. If you like, take an evening stroll and marvel at the multitude of glittering stars in the expansive southern skies. (B)
Today is at leisure to enjoy the facilities and beach at your luxury resort. This evening, why not dine al fresco on locally caught seafood? Let the sound of wind through the palms calm your spirit as the waters of the Indian Ocean gently lap along the beach. (B)
After a last breakfast in paradise, take a private transfer to the domestic airport for your scheduled flight to Mahé, where you will connect onto your onward flight. (B)
